Does anyone know if there is a way to use Perlin-type noise within POV
textures. Or is this the turbulence setting?
If there's not a way to do it using inbuilt functions, can anyone explain
how to use macros to create procedural textures?
Thanks in advance,
Lonnie

Many of the patterns use perlin noise, including bozo, wrinkles, etc.

Probably the closest thing to what you want would be a function pigment,
in MegaPOV. It allows you to specify a function for the pattern.
