  You can probably try to model objects with isosurfaces, but the result
will often be so complicated that the rendertimes will probably be
astronomical.

  How would you model a mesh with an isosurface? Maybe it's theoretically
possible, but not practically feasible (especially for meshes with hundreds
of thousands of triangles).

  CSG with thousands of primitives may also be modellable with an isosurface,
but often not very feasible either.

  Replicating a julia_fractal object with an isosurface would be an
interesting challenge.
