In the early days of Amazon, book prizes where different based on the
browser you used. Buying books with IE was more expensive than than with
Mozilla.
Nothing has changed, it only got worse.

I have often wondered if they do this to "scoop" things like patents, book
plots, movie screenplays, series pilots, or any other IP.
Big Data was scary 25 years ago.
Things are exponentially more powerful and consolidated now.
