I was browsing around the Netflix site the other day with a WinXP box and
Firefox 3.0. Suddenly, after a stray mouseclick, I noticed that Netflix was
no longer showing me the bitmaps that are clickable. For example, the places
on the screen where one would click for "Queue" and "Movies you'll love" no
longer displayed those words. There was just red background. But if I were to
hold the mouse over those places, I could figure out when I was over a
clickable link by looking at the status bar.

Firefox worked fine for days before this, and still does (slightly older
version) on my Linux box. Not even Konqueror has this problem.

Q: Any clues on what may have happened? Do you think it's something in the
firefox settings that I changed myself, or could Netflix have changed its
interface while I was surfing? Neither scenario makes sense. I even did a
reinstall of Firefox and have the same problem.

TIA for tips.
