Just back from a road trip to Texas to see my niece
graduate Magna Cum Laude and get sworn in 2nd Lt.
TX State Steak Contest in Hico, rodeo on the side,
dinosaur footprints, wading in Glen Rose, Bikini's at
6th Street in Austin, endless windmills at Sweetwater,
the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, a thousand miles
of Great Basin with one unattended gas station, a
casino in Ely, NV, antelope and big cats in Oregon
back country, mountain passes until my ears feel like
bleeding.
