Very nice ... Only saw the first video, though. My brother in law would
be impressed (He's a pretty good guitarist, and teaches lessons)

My normal speaking voice is not nearly as low as that. It's curious,
really. It's like when singing you arrange your throat in a completely
different way, which would feel very unnatural (and ridiculous) when
speaking normally, so your singing voice is very different from your
speaking voice.
In fact, it's so different from speaking that I didn't even know that
I could sing like that until I was like 25, for the simple reason that
I had never actually *tried* singing that low. I had tried singing using
the same pitch as everybody else (ie. almost an octave higher than that),
and my singing voice at that pitch is just horrible. In fact, somewhere
at about C4 I just *can't* sing anymore because my voice is incapable of
reaching that (without using falsetto, which sounds horrible). For this
reason I lived for over a decade (ie. from puberty to about 25-27) thinking
I can't sing at all, that I simply don't have what it takes, physically.
I have a friend who sings that low as well, and I found it cool that he
always sung an octave lower than all the other men. One day it just occurred
to me to *try* singing that low as well, and much to my great surprise,
I was not only able to reach those low notes (down to D2 and even lower
on good days), but it felt *comfortable* singing at that pitch.

I can't sing.
Or rather, I can produce tones that are in tune, but DAMN you wouldn't
want to listen to it for more than a few seconds! o_O
Also, after singing for a while, I start to experience mild symptons of
hypoxia. [This, presumably, just means I'm doing it horribly wrong.]
Out of curiosity, have you ever been *taught* to sing?
