That's the difference between males and females:

Men hope that the woman they love will never changes, but she will...

Women hope that the man they love will eventually change, but he never 
will...

Probably true not only for 25yo vs. 40yo, but also for 5yo vs. 25yo :-)

I always used to enjoy wiring up the electronics of our trainset more 
than actually playing with it. We had a telephone switch box, and used 
it to control the signal lights - once we worked out which contracts 
change when you move the switch. Ah, great days...
