Lemonade - not that there's any way they could know what the colourless
sparkling liquid I was drinking actually was.

IIRC, neither of them were drinking either because they had to drive
afterwards.

It's a man's drink or a mens' drink.

If a man's drink is correct, then why do you think a girl's drink wrong?

Now that is definitely wrong.

Drink what you like. To hell with what others think of it.

I gotta admit, I'm having a hard time getting used to beer. I'm ok with
most mixed drinks, but my true favorite is absinthe :) :) :)

No matter, though, as they're all effective at removing one's
inhibitions (as the saying goes, sure you can have fun without
drinking... but why use matches when you have a lighter? :) ).

Well, Dr John, Steve and I have met you in RL and I think that if we were closer
in location we would have met up regularly. Age might be a bit of an issue when
looking for a girlfriend but not for plain friendship.

So! Occasionally I drink advocaat, with or without lemonade. Not just in poncy
London pubs but I've ordered it in rough dockside bars. The only comment I've
had is "What are you drinking that for?" to which I reply "I like the taste." No
problems.

Oh! Forgot to mention I do ask for it to be served in a dirty glass. :-)

Nope. In fact, they've started selling it in the liquor stores here in
Utah.
