The thing you had posted a picture of that looked like "an X-Box spent a
drunken night in a motel with a Playstation 1" turns out to have its entire
library of games *built-in* according to one poor guy who got one for
christmas.

Any reference to what these games are? It would be interesting to know.

Probably similar to these:

But in full color! :D

No, read 'floor' as 'floor'. It's the same with cheap tobacco, and that is
always known as 'sweepings' i.e., 'floor sweepings'.

Tobacco is always a very attractive target for counterfeiters because the
taxes are usually so high. An illegal company can easily sell their product
cheaper and still make a huge profit, just because they don't have to pay
the taxes.

In the cigarette industry the counterfeiters often use very similar
factories to the legitimate companies, even using the same (corrupt)
suppliers too for the important parts (like the packaging of course, not the
actual contents!).

BTW, it is completely normal for "floor sweepings" to be put into
cigarettes, in a legal factory the amount is so tiny compared to the fresh
tobacco incoming, and the place is clean to food production standards, it
really is no problem.

There were times when even genuine original game consoles had just one built-in
game and *that was it* :P

                 .

                 . |
                 .

Still it was all the craze back then...

BTW, some people would buy those ripoff consoles even if they didn't look like
popular top-of-the-crop models. You don't swim in money but want your pre-teen
kids to STFU? Get them something cheapo with several dozen built-in games - one
or two will be good enough to keep them busy. And you don't need to have long
arguments about requests for the newest and latest games: They won't run on
that box anyway :)

I guess it's a bit different though as soon as the kids reach teen age...
