I'm seriously considering having it *framed* and put on my wall as an
eternal monument to my heroic bravery...
...but I should probably also ring it at some point. o_O

That's a good attitude to take - and well done!
Just take it slowly and see where it leads.
Did I mention "well done"? WELL DONE!

Also, I should mention that what you've done is something I've never
done. Ever. I've always been *far* too shy to ask anyone for their
phone number in a setting like this.
So again, well done. :-)

Personally, I don't give an F-word whether anyone uses it. ;-)
Seriously, tho, congrats! See, not that hard to get a date! :-)

Yaaaay! That was a WIN, yes! I myself never went so far with any
waitress. Next step is showing your math, Haskell and organ skills
and... well, perhaps diner or movies would be better for a while... :D

I imagine it will go something like this:
- stare at number
- stare at phone
- stare at number again
- stare at phone
- begin to dial
- quickly close phone before finished
- stare back at number
- rehearse what to say
- pick up phone again
- realize critical oversight in planned speech
- put phone back down so as to plan more
- stare at number
.
.
.
- call number
- phone is busy
- feel a mix of relief and disappointment
- begin again in 30 min.
- ?
- profit!
Also congrats!
