We will have to wait until the google 360 picture car has been there.
They have been at my street, my house is on the web. Not sure if I like
it or not.

That would merely prove that the object exists there. Doesn't mean this
specific photo is real. ;-)

Yeah, my first thought was to look using Street View, but alas it hasn't
been there yet.
Anyone here live in the area?

Well, it'd be a bit of a challenge to edit the object out of the photo
and then add a fake version back in - probably more effort than it's
worth for even the most dedicated photoshopper. ;-)

Uh, how long as that thing been there? Maybe they just photoed it before
the metalwork was erected. :-P

Maybe they took a photo of the place before the statue was put there,
and after the statue was erected, they went and photographed the statue
and then copy-pasted it on the original photo.
At least the lighting of the statue should be rather accurate.
