I like Wikipedia's assertion that "if Wanamaker hadn't died in ??? then
the organ would probably be even bigger". :-D

(The top manual doesn't have a corresponding division, so you have to
couple it to make it sound.)

I also love the way the manuals are tilted like that; it almost makes it
seem like it's to prevent the organist trying to escape from the console
or something!

I wonder... would my mum let me put this in my bedroom?

I've seen and heard this. It's very cool.

Well, I've seen the picture. I doubt I'll ever hear it. ;-)

Still, there are plenty of neat organs in the UK. I especially remember
the one at the York Minster - although I'm told Ely has a famous one
too. And not forgetting the one at the Royal Albert Hall which kind of
set off this whole crazy train of events. ;-)

I doubt I'll ever play at the Royal Albert Hall, but this weekend I'll
hopefully be playing an small Victorian organ in a local village
church... (Hopefully *without* an audience!)

I guess that Vishnu is the one to play it? ;)

Actually, I'm quite fascinated by pipe organs. Just because they are so
big and seem so complex.
