Yes, it was.

Well, get ready for it again, because IPv6 uses some of the ideas from
IPX.

Down in my neck of the woods 128kb/s qualifies as broadband :-(
512k ADSL's the fastest you can get at a reasonable price.

Not bad. I draw the line at files over 100MB. Even that will take a few
hours.
What's your bandwidth and cap?

Wow. I get annoyed if I can't pull a DVD worth down in an hour. :-)
Class G wireless seems kind of creaky to me.

LOL. Different worlds almost. A DVD worth is a month for me. Literally. I
have a 5GB monthly cap.
I checked my download history from end May. 67MB file - 2 hours 12 min. My
3G card's a lot faster, but the cap's a lot lower too.

I have 1/1 Mbit/s ADSL as part of my rent. I could upgrade it to
10/2 Mbit/s by paying 19.90 euros/month, and 24/2 Mbit/s for 29.90
euros/month.
I suppose there are some benefits to living in a technology paradise. :P

Ouch.
I can remember wanting to get a T1 to my house, at the low, low price of
$1,500 a month.
There's no way I could have afforded that then, heck, I couldn't afford
it *now*.

*drool*
384kb/s ADSL with a 2GB cap costs around 20 euro/month here
I'm currently paying around 45 euro/month for 256kb/s (theoretical, 128kb/s
is max I've ever seen) wireless internet with a 5 GB cap

Read it in the context of 'Windows 3.11 was under the control of DOS'
