I was told in a film class that Three Kings used some new Kodak film
that had a broader 'yellow' response range for the brighter gold colors.
A quick googleing proved that wrong, all they did for the bleached out
look was use the wrong chemicals in developing the film.

Hmm, wonder if my place has a spot for a dark room . . .

Yup, they deliberately ruined it. Much cheaper and probably more effective.

If it does, make sure you dark-proof it to stop the dark leaking out!

So a Wii is about 30 times the costs of a paperback, whereas here it's  
more like 20, and a 360 is about 35x rather then 30x. I'd hate to ask  
about the PS3.
