I just downloaded POVray 3.5 for PC.I just used L3P to convert a lefo file
from a .dat to a .pov file using this command: "C:\LDRAW\l3p\L3P.exe"
"m6335a.ldr" -cg45,45,0 -lg45,0,0 -lg30,120,0 -lg60,-120,0 -fg -bu -sw0.5 -
q3 -lgeo -o . But when I tried to render, I got the following error:
Macros require #version 3.1 or later but #version 3.00 is set. this seems to
occure in the file colors.inc at line 164 with this command.
Please help I am a TOTAL newbie to POVray.

Well, the error message already tell you want is wrong. At least looking
into the documentation would help. You need to find where in _your_ scene
file you set #version 3. Then change it to 3.1 and the problem is solved.

This is an actual problem with the includes though. colors.inc should
have a version directive that sets a version which supports the macros
it uses, allowing for backwards compatibility with scenes like this. My
fault, I put the macros there and didn't consider anyone trying to use a
version 3 scene. The problem might exist in other includes, too.
