Hey folks!
It has been a while since I have used POV, but 3.5 is just too tempting :-)
Could anyone tell me how to use internal functions in a height_field? I have
seen it mentioned before and cannot find it in the docs....

Look at "6.7.11.16 Function Image" chapter

IMHO the heightfield chapter should mention this chapter (and even have
a link to it). The information about how to create a heightfield with a
function is surprisingly difficult to find currently.
It could say something like "by the way, there's a way to create a
heightfield using functions - check chapter 6.7.11.16" or whatever.

Yes, but also all the "input formats" (bitmaps, df3's and internal
bitmaps) should be moved to one sepperate dedicated section.
