Hello Im a new user and i was looking for help to get a basic Hollow Box
with No Ceiling and No front wall....Im having trouble with the clipped_by
code and the hollow....If anyone can help me it would be greatly
appreciated...

The hollow keyword DON'T realy make the object empty, it's prupose is to allow the
object to contain 
some media.
In my opinion, the way to make your open box is as follow:
Make an union of thin boxes, one for each face you need. In your case, one for the
floor and one for 
each of the remaining 3 walls. Set a texture for the whole union and you're done.
It's now easy to have different textures for the various faces, just give a texture to
that spesific 
face.
