Hello,

I did a very easy animation and POV-Ray save the images separately on .BMP
format. I think that POV-Ray can convert it when rendering automaticaly to
.AVI or some format to see the animation.
I'm right?

All helps are welcome.

Regards,
Oleguer

Nope, POV-Ray can only output to single frames in various formats, BMP being
of them. You've got to use an Encoder, like TMpegEnc
(http://www.tmpegnc.net) to encode the single frames to an animation.

Tim

Like I said, I use TMpegEnc, available from http://www.tmpegenc.net as
freeware. Can be set up nicely to create good MPEGs, but can also be used to
convert MPEG to DIVX. All the videos on my homepage were generated with
TMpegEnc.

Tim

If Tim's suggestion doesn't work for you, I like to use MakeAvi
(http://makeavi.sourceforge.net) or VideoMach
(http://www.gromada.com/videomach.html. Note that I don't know how good
the latest version is; I like to use my old 2.7.2).

All right, I'm going to test the programs. Thanks.

No problems opening that link here.
I downland MakeAvi program, I have tested and it works properly. It's very
easy to use. I save it on my HD.

Best regards,
Oleguer

I think that should have read http://tmpgenc.net. 'Twas an easy typo.

Another very good encoding software is VirtualDub available free of charge
here :

http://www.virtualdub.org/

It does everything what the Pegasys software can, but if Freeware without
any limitations.
