Hi all,

I am a newer. I made a manipulator with PovRay 3.5 recently. I want to add a
person to operate the manipulator. How could I get the code of a person.

Thanks

It depends how realistic you want them. For a pure pov solution, but a
fairly stylistic one, you can use blobman (anybody know where that is these
days?).

For more realistic figures, the simplest recommendation is Poser. A full
version is sometimes included on cover disks for cgi mags.

Unfortunately I had to find Peter Houston's blobman pages (and Peter
Houston himself) unreachable. Therefore I have put a copy of the most
recent blobman version I found into the POV-Ray Objects Collection:

I don't know of a place to get BlobMan by Peter Houston, the links I see to
it are 404.

This "front-end" might be good to check out if you can locate BlobMan (I
don't seem to have it on this computer at the moment)
http://www.wozzeck.net/images/petibonum/index.html
Made by Francois Dispot I believe and it works with that.

BTW I notice that Peter H. posted a copy of blobman to binaries.utilities in
June. He mentions the website being down.
