Hi all
I have Poser 3 and want to use the models in POV 3.5. At the moment I'm
using POS2POV to convert, which works fine, but only gives me pov textures
and I want to use some nice image maps I found on the web.
PoseRAY looks like the thing to use but it uses Poser 4 OBJ files. It runs
fine and gives the relevent includes which all look good but POV gives me a
"no triangles in triangle mesh" error about half way through parsing. The
poser person is broken down into separate objects eg #declare skin, #declare
eyes, etc in the include file, some of which seem fine but others don't
parse.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Jim
export to another format from poser (eg 3ds) and then use 3dwin to convert
to pov

3dwin will convert obj files! and is the way to go. It is not free but is the best
converter around for converting to 3.5 mesh 2.
If you are serious about using Poser you will eventually need UV mapper(free) by
SteveCox to make your own uv maps.

Does SteveCox have a url somewhere, where I would be able to get more info
and downloads?
