Since I'm a new member to news.povray.org, should I post my first WiP in
povray.binaries.images? If so, what format (like .bmp, .tga, .png, or .jpg)
should I use when posting?

In some cases also .png is acceptable as long as the file size is moderate
(often png is better than jpg with images that look more like drawings, ie.
with sharp and thin lines etc). If the file size of the png is too big, then
prefer jpg. ("Too big" means hundreds of kilobytes.)
