Seriously, though, it really is too general of a question. What
specifically do you want to know? If you're completely new to POV you'll
probably want to spend a few days going through the tutorials to get
familiar with it.

Depends on the interpretation of glowing. If a surrounding luminescence is
wanted you'll want to be using media in a container larger than the bulb (a
scaled up invisible bulb could do). Check the demo scene files in the
interior\media subfolders for examples of media.
If just a light shining out of a bulb then declaring the bulb first and
adding it into the light source as a looks_like object should be okay.

Is that the graphic artist's equivalent of "how many ray-tracers does it
take to screw in a light bulb?" or is it more like "Why did the chicken
cross the road?"
