Bevel Text...
Hello !
Is it possible to bevel text ? That means, give it something like an
"edge" and give this edge another color ? How is it done... ?

You can use Elefont (for Windows). See Ken's linkpage for the URL.

Johannes.

... or you might want to take a look at a program called SoftText.
It has some really nifty features for deforming text.

Aside from what's been already suggested, you could try to do it with a
height_field. Create the text (bright letters on a black background) in a paint
program. Smoothing the image gives the letters rounded edges. You can do other
stuff in paint program too, like skewing etc. But make sure the image has high
enough resolution, or the letters will look jaggy!
The black background will be the low area in the height_field; you can make it
disappear with an appropriate water_level (see docs)
