Hello,
I'm not sure of this and I can't find anything in the manual: when there are
2 macros with the same name, the Povray engine stops. I use NT4 and Povray
3.1g. In my case I had one macro named "Pillar(K,H)" and a second - by
typing mistake - "Pillar 100(K,H)". Took me some time to find the mistake,
as the crash was tto fast to see the messagebox.
Is this a bug?

When there are more than one macro with the same name, each one replaces
the previous ones. Also, "Pillar 100(K,H)" is not correct, it makes no
sense at all(names can not have spaces). POV-Ray shouldn't crash, but it
should not parse this code either, and should report it as a syntax
error.

I agree that it is nonsense - it was a typing error, and i think too Povray
should'nt crash. I did not look into it systematically, though. Thought that
this is something for the Povray team. Thanks, Sander

Yesterday I detected faulty memory in my system. With good quality RAM
Povray behaves nicely: no parsing, correct error message and no crash... So:
no bug after all.
