OK ..I'm not bad in english but I hope to meet someone out of Germany.
I'm a real Newbie and I would like to understand POV-Ray and its
language..
Who can help me???

P.S: I heard of a visul Interface for Pov-ray called Moray or so...where
can I get it and is it free- or sharware??

To get you started here's a link to Uncle Ken's links:

You'll find more than enough stuff to keep you busy there. He's
got a whole list of tutorial links.
As for Moray http://www.stmuc.com/moray/ it's shareware. There's another
good(or so I here; I prefer to hand-code)modeller called Povlab 
http://www.povlab.org/povlab.asp which is freeware.

Although if you want to learn POV's language it might be best to just
learn the script code first and then move on to a modeller.

PS.I could swear I ran across a pov tutorial in German at one time. But
I'm not positive. Perhaps someone else will remember it.

his Links Collection page posted in the
povray.announce.frequently-asked-questions group.
