Hi!
I'm making a scene, where I need texture, which is something like grass.
I'm new user and I have no idea how I can do this.
I'm very pleased, if someone could help me.

If you can navigate over to povray.text.scene-files and
povray.binaries.scene-files you should be able to find a few examples
of grass posted there over the past several months. Either that or I'm
sure one of the habitual grazers here (ho ho... pun) can lead you to
something.

There are a lot of grasses out there, most of them are too good to be
used(individual strands and so on) in a image where the grass isn't the most
important thing. I'd recommend you a image_map(Ken had a good one) or a texture.
I posted a texture for grass on
16 Feb 1999 19:34:18
titled "50k+ cheap grass" wich may be useful.
hooray for me :-)
