You find the more details about future versions in
povray.announce.frequently-asked-questions "POV-Ray plans for v3.1 and
beyond...".  And yes, as it has been stated earlier somewhere else on this
server, POV-Ray 3.5 will include isosurfaces. However, keep in mind that we
may apply changes to it as necessary for cross-platform compatibility.
