Hi,
A question, I would like to put a special 3D object.
I have a 2D (x,y) file, I want : to construct an axisymetric 3D (revolution
axis) objet from this profile, and after meshing to put it in POVRAY scene
applying textures ans so on.
Is there any solution ?
Thanks
Christophe

Have a look at the "sor" or "lathe" object. It is not necessary
to create a mesh from your 2D points for that.

Try searching for "MeshLathe" at http://lib.povray.org/
It might suit your needs.
