I'm looking into creating a render farm for povray using mosix to distribute the
processing on my soon to be linux cluster.

Is there a tutorial for setting up a render farm for povray using mosix on a
linux server?

thanks

Nope...

Have fun... I did it once a few years back... it worked ok but getting
the frames distributed was kludgey...

I had better luck using Tcl/Tk and Expect. I generated all the frames
and sent them to individual servers using a custom tcl script and using
Expect to control the distribution...

Sorry, but I don't have any of old notes...

Now that POVray can use multicore processors, it seems a waste of time
to have to work out the distribution scheme again to use individual
computers in a cluster...

BTW, if you Google "povray mosix" you'll find some resources to get you
started if you want to pursue it...

Good luck...
