hi,

i am looking to "measure" incident or ambient light in an outdoor povray
scene without a sun, just blue (perhaps cloudy) sky.

i have a tree object with leaves and i need to determine (roughly) how much
incident light each leaf receives. i think povray would be an ideal tool
for this job, but i am uncertian of how to begin this process.

any suggestions or tips are very welcome.

thanks,
matt zagrabelny

You probably want to edit sources of radiosity code.

Or maybe just data in *.rca file would be enought, find out its format from
source code and write utility to read it and convert to some usable format.
