Howdy.

I've lurked around here for years - off and on. So if this isn't news,
please don't flame. I >DID< do searches on this group and povray.org and
they turned up nada.

I was researching using tensegrity structures for this pet project of mine
(might be real, might not ever get to that stage) and ran across a modeller
(in Java) for tensegrity structures (also known as 'Floating Compression'
structures) that outputs models for POV !!!

Cool stuff !!!

Looks nice. One for Ken's links? (or has he got it?).

Welcome again to the not really-very-scary groups. Ooo, look! Bunny rabbits!
Fluffy kittens! Sit down on the porch. Would you like some lemonade? - I made it
myself.

Tensegrity models are really cool. I built a few out of pen barrels and
paper clips. They're really bouncy and fun to play with.

......And I made one in Pov to help me figure out how to build the real ones.

"Struck + POV-Ray". Did one of them in Pov 2.1 but didn't know there
was "science" involved, never heard of this tensegrity thingy before
:/ It's still on Compuserve somewhere but here's my 3v5 version

Next time I play with it I _should_ know what I'm doing now ;)
