I imagine this is a pretty simple question, but I've been
struggling with it for a while now... I wish to arrange the
letters of a text object along the inside of circle.

Specifically, I'm attempting to recreate the logo in the upper
left -- but with more pov-ish shapes and textures.
Would I be better off trying to arrange the letters using a
spline, buy hand, or some trick I'm not aware of?

Hi
Look at shapes.inc in standard includes of povray 3.5
#macro Circle_Text(F, T, S, Sp, Th, R, I, J, A) should fit your needs.
Yet I didn't use it

> Look for the Circle_Text macro in "7.13.1 shapes.inc"
Embarrassingly, I found Circle_Text about 3 minutes after I
clicked [send] (actually ZZy). I just knew it'd be simple.
