  Povray 3.1 for Unix ? (Message 1 to 4 of 4)

Could the POV Team announce an approximate release date for the Unix
version of POVRay 3.1. I had hoped that this would be available by now,
and would certainly offer my services as a beta tester. I have a pair of
433MHz Alphas running Digital Unix.

Yours

Do I take it that the POV Team

(a) Doesn't read it's own newsgroups?
(b) Can't be bothered to reply?

You COULD take that as the message, but it would in fact be untrue. The
fact is that they have replied to this type of message several times
with the response of they are working on it.

Actually, it can be taken to mean that you didn't read the guide to newsgroups
at http://www.povray.org/groups.html, which specifically states that we don't
guarantee to read or reply to messages here.

There nothing in any of our docs, on our website, or in these groups, that says
that we will read or reply to your messages.
