  I thought there will be also an 'inside' keyword or something like that
(substituting halo or whatever).

Actually the halo syntax has been completely changed.  Since I have not
yet made any use of the halo's and am therefore not very familiar with
them I left them out.

The enhancements that I mentioned were the ones that I felt were of the
greatest immediate use.  Without a doubt the #macro is the most powerful
enhancement - IMHO...

I'm a non programmer, but I love POV with amodeleer, like Moray. What
are the concrete, visible features? New textures, the whole new-halo
thingie, etc? Any example images? I assume it's not ALL code fixes and
addtions...
