Dangnabbit! Having been away fro the newsgroups for so long, I keep
hitting "reply" when I should be hitting "reply to newsgroup"...
If any of you happen to receive e-mails from me these days, in which I'm
replying to newsgroup posts, please simply presume that I intended to
post them here (or in whichever newsgroup the original message was
posted). Not that I think they're actually managing to go out, but who
knows...

Are you using Thunderbird? I only have "Reply" and "Follow up" buttons.

Good to see that I am not the only one who falls for this stupid
Thunderbird "feature" every single time.
There is a trick to at least avoid sending those messages: Even for a
newsserver, Thunderbird allows you to setup an outgoing SMTP server. So
I just created a dummy server that doesn't work.
