Googling for "mountains higher than the Himalayas" (which, in terms of 
raytraced art, truly would be an awesome subject - imagine them towering 
high into the stratosphere, where the daytime sky is almost black, high 
above any cloud decks and thus also above any *upper* snow line, only 
barren rock at -100°C facing air rarified almost to vacuum... and then 
think of a crew of explorers all in spacesuits battling their way 
towards the highest peaks, with verdant lowlands in the distant
