No; the "hollow on" keyword is something of a misnomer, and should have
been named "suppress_media off" or something like that, because the only
thing it does is to prevent the object from cancelling out any media
inside it (whether it's the object's own media or that of other objects
occupying the same space).

Another name that looks appropriate would be "contain_media on" or 
"allow_media on"
