Recall.
The official version might be "remember", but I "recall" ;)

You are not dead then ;-)
We should all endeavour to learn something new every day.
At my age it is often the same thing I relearn each day. ;-)

Another site I've found useful for this is http://www.acronymfinder.com/
In this one, for IIRC, the 2nd and 3rd suggestions are:
If I Read Correctly
If I Recall/Remember Correctly
followed by 20 more.
For YMMV, it finds 5 suggestions, with "Your mileage may vary" as the first.

That is really the better site IMO (not so humble, I might add) ;-)

Basically the same. Don't quote me if I get/got it wrong. DQMIIGIW

That is a relatively new one for me. I have never believed what the
manufacturers have ever said. So it was taken for granted.

This started with the energy crisis. It was all over automobile advertizements
in the USA during the late '70s and early '80s.

That long ago? I've only noticed it in the last 10 years or so.
I'm so observant. :-)

It was pervasive in the 70's and 80's, then, it faded away in the 90's
and early 2000's only to make a comeback.
