POV-Ray! David K. Buck middle name is the same as the Captain first
name!! :D

Yes, because of that, my nickname in high school became "Captain". :-)

Yeah - I knew! :-)
The more a reason for such a POV slogan, right?

Point taken, Chris. Point taken. I had in mind, that - in opposition to any
other slogan - the new POV slogan would be changed, from year to year (the
years of mission). Unlike any other slogan, since POV-Ray is unlike to any
other render software.

I should have written
:
"Virtual Reality, the final frontier. These are the calculations of the
raytracer POV-Ray. Its nineteenth year of its mission: To explore virtual
new worlds.
To seek out virtual life and virtual art. To boldly go where no render
program has gone before."

Thanks, David. I think, I sourced that information from the Wikipedia entry
about POV-Ray. You might have to do some corrections there, as well. I
think, they stated that POV-Ray was born in 1989.,,
If your Amiga's storage media is maybe still operational even if the entire
Amiga is not, you might try to build that storage media into some other
Amiga. Just a thought, but I am sure you might have tried that long time.
So, what about the slogan idea? :-)

And I am sure, his other, hidden middlename is "Tiberius", right, David?
But there is another non-dying movie character by the name "Buck Rogers": A
guy shot in space, falling asleep for some little time, and waking up half a
millenium later.And seeing the future...
