how can I get a pattern to wrap around a cylinder multiple times?  I was hoping for
something like:

pigment{image_map{sys "a.bmp' map_type 2 frequency 200}}

but that doesn't work...

  Use the default planar mapping and then scale the pigment smaller and
apply a cylindrical warp to it.
