Hi guys...

Anybody got a URL or code for a "jumble" macro? I. e. I want to "drop"
objects onto a surface and have them "jumble" over each other just like a
pile of sticks / penicls that you might drop onto a table and not have them
intersect just like real objects would do.

Any ideas or pointers? I'd love to be able to restrict this "jumble" to a
cube or something, to simulate a container containing the "jumble".

I think that what you want is MegaPOV, which has been patched with
(among other things) a mechanics simulation engine which should be able
to do what you describe.

Look at the 'clutter' macro of JRG.
You can download it from

together with some errata.

oops, better use this scatter macro instead of the clutter macro, which is
from JRG too.
