Thanks for the link. It states:
"We will be making downloadable and printable (e.g. PDF) versions of the
documentation available in due course. Please be patient ;) "
Since there is no date on the page, I was inquiring about the status of the
PDF version of the documentation. So, Is the PDF version of the v3.5 POV
Ray documentation available yet?

It will be made available in due course. Please be patient.

Not quite ready for prime time. Time frame - early next year, maybe.

version now. Check out this thread for more info:

Not really.
The purpose of a PDF version of the documentation is printing. I don't
think it makes sense that the POV-Team suggest to print a direct
conversion of the HTML docs and at the same time works on a version much
better suited for printing. That would be a waste of paper.
If you just want to print the HTML docs you can also use the browser
printing function and don't need to download a large PDF.

I am not suggesting that it should be used instead. I was just pointing
out an option for him in the interim. If it solves his need, then great.
The one thing I have learned is that when the POV team delivers, it has
always been worth the wait.
