Anybody out here with pentium4 that would try out my modfications of the 
POV-Source code for the Intel compiler? You either need linux or someother 
OS but with Intel compiler installed.

Isn't the Intel compiler commercial? If it is free, where can I
download it? If it's a demo, how functional is it?

You can get a 30-days evaluation version for free from 
http://www.intel.com/software/products/global/eval.htm

I do not exactly understand in the license if binaries compiled with it may 
be distributed. I think this evaluation version is fully functional. For 
Linux there is also a "Non-Commercial Unsupported Version". AFAIK this one 
is unlimited for free.

As I understand it binaries made with the non-commerical version of the 
compiler are allowed to be distributed for free (but not sold and so). Can 
anybody confirm this interpretation of that license?

That's what it sounds like to me as well. What it says is the
non-commercial unsupported version "cannot be used to produce products
for resale or commercial use" and that it is "for non-commercial
purposes, and has no timeout on the license".
