My personal guess is that there might be some 3.51 or whatever version
first. Or perhaps not.

The series Povray 3.0, 3.1, 3.5, 3.51 and 4 sounds oddly familiar :-p
Next -> Povay 4 SR6, Povay 2000, Povay XP Home Edition, Povay XP
Professional
Oops, I said something wrong.

Yes, please... who needs 4.0? For me it can take 10 more years... I don't
worry: I think I need all that time, at least, to be tired of 3.5 (if this
is possible). Let us see what 3.5 can do NOW, and forget about 4.0... :)

  Thanks to the POV-Team!

I'm coming home from a hot and busy afternoon just to see i have missed
the first minutes of POV-Ray 3.5 - what a shame... ;-)

I would like to thank you too, the Team, the TAG, my fellow pre-beta
testers and of course also those who have helped in the public beta
groups. I think i can speak for all pre-beta testers when i say this was
an interesting and valuable experience for us and despite the work we had
much fun...

Hey, that's not fair. I was actually the first to congratulate but but you
had to get into your time machine and thank him yesterday.

Sorry, I should probably have cancelled the message instead, what will
happen if I cancel it now?
