Hi, I am looking for info on real world ligths, preverabaly in relation
to POV-ray.

For example, how do I place lights in an object, and have them put out as
much light as a reall 60w light bulb?  or a 500w halogen spotlight?

And then, renderthem in an outdoor/indoor sceen ith a single light acting
as the sun etc etc...

Have I been clear?

Well, the light sources are much like the coordinate units in that it's all
relative.  There has been a units.inc made before and I think possibly a
lumens.inc or similar thing might exist (I sure thought there was such a
thing anyway).

All you'd need to do really is base it all on candlepower or lumens, for
example, and use fade_power.  Although that might not be entirely feasible
because POV-Ray isn't thoroughly able to mimic reality, FAIK.

I tried searching for this and all I came up with is the thread at p.t.s-f
with colors for various sources and a little talk besides:

I didn't find anything POV related on the 'net.
