In povray.binaries.images I threw out a picture of a rug.
(some of you may have seen it)

The rug is of the "throw-rug" variety...however...right now
it has this shape.......

    ------------------

   ------------------

I need to make it oval....
                                                 / \
                                                / \

                                               \ /
                                                 \ /

I could just whip out some CSG but I cannot think of a shape
that I could use as the "cookie-cutter" (I'm probably just mising
the whole thing in the help somewhere)
Anybody have any ideas?

p.s no ridicule on the ascii art!!! <grin>

                                    Johnny

Please, just a little ridicule? Just a jab at the fact that you were using
a proportional font? Just a little one? Oh. Well, okay then.

His art was not in HTML. *You're* the one who isn't using monospace.

Does this look to you like it was made with a monospaced font?

http://www.cs.tut.fi/~warp/snapshot.png

And yes, my xterm uses a monospaced font.

Where did I say anything about HTML?

And I assure you I am using a monospace font. For some reason it's the only
kind of font my ssh client supports...
