Post processing method that produces realistic
looking images when used on scenes wich use
radiosity and realistic light source and
texture parameters.

In real life scenes the illumination on
surfaces varies greatly and the difference
between the brightest and darkest areas is
too big for monitors to display. This
difference in brightness can be compressed
which produces visually pleasing images.
