I got mail recently from Samuel and he asked me to forward his greetings
to the newsgroups here (especially to 'Uncle' Ken :-)) He is still using
Povray and says he misses the newsgroups and everyone here.

Sorry, Ken is not here right now, but if you would like to leave a message
after the tone I am sure he'll read it when he returns from holiday.

I'm glad he's doing well. Tell Samuel I send my greetings. Also ask him if
he can e-mail the source for his isosurface pine tree forest image to
ben### [at] catholicorg. And thank you, Christoph!

Tell Sam he is missed. A job that keeps one away from the NGs,
not for me.

You may also want to pass on the sad news about David Wilkinson,
I know that Samuel and David hade some contact at times, (David
hosted a copy of Sam's Iso Tutorial when Sam lost his webspace).

He knows. He got in touch with me after I e-mailed to ask him what he thought of his
isosurface
tutorial being relocated. Said to "retire" it since there's a better one available,
although he
didn't know of the URL at the time. Think he meant this one:
http://www.econym.demon.co.uk/isotut/
You can still get to Samuel's from there too, not completely gone yet.
Or even more probable(?) is another at:
http://users.skynet.be/smellenbergh/iso_ind.html
I can't see the graphics there but it's a great, in-depth one.

Oh, and his e-mail address is stb### [at] hotmailcom . I know someone asked before
about files he
might have but I never can remember to ask, or seems to me he has said it's all
archived away
somewhere and specific files would need to be searched for. So I'll leave it up to
everyone to ask
directly.

If you reply back tell him Uncle Ken sends his best.
