morning.
We may consider this a serious contest.
10 BEST COLLECTION: 11+1 say Yes!
[ones out of my league ;) ] to make this something more than an idle
curiosity.
I'm assuming that many people intend to participate but haven't filled
a friend working code for the survey and botched it up. There were also
perhaps 200+ who saw the Geocities precursor pages with no such survey.
The web page was translated into French; I got hits from a German ng,
it's been receiving hits from the Japanese povray ring, its banner ad is
povray webring. I can't get it onto the 3dring.com webring, though, due
to a problem there.

Something strange about your post, (and the ones over in
p.b.i), I'd suggest you're using some strange character
set or something, I had to run it through an interprete
to read it.

Get rid of the "charset=x-user-defined" part of the header. (under the view
menu, select "Western (ISO-8859-1)" from the "Character Set" submenu.

Something was different anyway, if you examine the properties of your
original post in this thread and your reply to Steve, you'll notice that in
the first the charset is "user-defined", and in the second, it is
"us-ascii". Strange, no?

I access this browser from more than one ISP, for various reasons.
It looks like "this" PC is set up correctly. Will check the character set on
Netscape for the other two PC's I frequently use.

The original post was sent using 8bit encoding and was using a
x-user-defined charset. This last one was more normal, 7bit and
us-ascii, resp.
