Can someone tell me what is meant by "no shading", and "no reflection" in
the 32x32 and 120x120 colour section please?  For instance, does a cast
shadow constitute as "shading"? And does "no reflection" mean that you have
to use a plain colour instead of a reflective surface?

Plain colours and gradients are allowed, but not "effects" such as shading
or reflection etc. Shading means both shading on the surfaces of objects,
but also shadows and other shading effects. Put simple, you can't use
light_sources. Use an ambient of 1 instead. You can't use any other effects
either. And the pigments can only be plain colours, or simple patterns if it
a vital part of the logo.

I'll try to explain why.

The purpose of the black and white version and the colour version is to show
how the logo looks when all effects have been removed and only the core logo
design is left. If the logo still looks nice and is easily recognisable
without any effects, then it is probably a good logo. But if the logo is
relying on fancy effects and it looks boring without those effects, then it
is not a very good logo.

So the whole point of the b/w and colour version is to show the logo without
effects, and therefore effects are not allowed in those versions. However,
you can use all the effects you like in the 3 custom versions.

Oh, and by the way, I would appreciate if you don't start out by sending me
the logo(s). Please post them in povray.binaries.images first, get feedback,
maybe improve them, and after all that you can send them to me. :-)

    Thanks for that Rune. You've put me right with it now. I wasn't sure
about "shadows" and "shading"

     Now, would I send them to you first?  Noooooo!
